ABOUT
Chidomere Ndubuisi popularly known as ‘Oga Pamtech’ was born on August 9, 1979. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pamtech Group that launched Pamtech Autoland, Pamtech Media, Pamtech Ride and the Pamtech Modern AutoParts Plaza. Ndubuisi comes from a family of four siblings and first son. He was the only child of his parents for 11 years before his mother conceived and gave birth to other children. He was glad his mother did not treat him like an only child which would have made him lazy or turn out to be useless. Additionally, he ended up training his younger siblings due to the upbringing her received.
BEFORE FAME
Ndubuisi was born into poverty just like every other average person living in Nigeria. His parents couldn’t afford his school fees nor the registration fee of his WASSCE examination which pressured his mother to sell her saloon hair dryer and personal wrappers to raise the money. It was his grandfather that paid the sum of N800 Naira ($0.51 USD) for his SS3 school fees to enable him write his exam. After the exams, his parents couldn’t pay for his JAMB or POLY-JAMB exams too but grace found him and a stranger paid for it.
Lucky for him, he passed and gained admission into Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri to study Mechanical Engineering. His uncle paid for his first year school fees because his parents still couldn’t afford it, while a course mate accommodated him as a squatter. After graduating with Ordinary Diploma (OND), he got admitted through direct entry to Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). He sold off his school electronics set to buy a Pentium 3 computer for N90,000 (earnings from minial jobs loan from his friends; Okechukwu and Oxford) in 2001 with the encouragement of hos friend Alabra. This step propelled him to make his first million in his final school year.
After graduation and completion of his compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), he got a job as an personal/technical assistant to a government officer in Imo state Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
CAREER
Chidomere Ndubuisi started Pamtech Group in 2016 with the mindset of running business in the oil and gas sector. (The company name Pamtech was coined from his children’s name). First, he learned about the business in form of an apprenticeship to have an understanding about the gaps, challenges and running of the business. Since the business is a deep pocket business full of risks, he paid serious attention to the customer research and training process.
The business kicked off bountifully well, and while still trying to solve its challenges, it gave birth to Pamtech Auto land, Pamtech Media and Pamtech Foundation. The company started with 3 staffs but currently has over 200 direct staffs and casuals with 5 directors (with equity and shares) who grew from lower to higher cadre.
The Pamtech Foundation has been doing outreach as well as philanthropic contributions for the “Girl Child Project” and “DAD for Adolescence” (Defining A Decade for Adolescence) helping them in developing and defining their next 10 years. The foundation has also given Personal Development Libraries to five schools in Owerri. All these is to help improve the love for reading and personal development among young students.
Another remarkable initiative is “Business Made in Imo,” which focuses on providing financial support and grants to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within Imo State. The aim is to helps local businesses thrive and contributes to the growth and diversification of the regional economy.
FAMILY LIFE
Engineer Ndubuisi Chidomere is married to a lovely wife, Mrs. ND Chidomere. Their marriage gave birth to three children, one son and two daughters, namely; Praise (son), Amarachukwu (1st daughter) and Nmasinachi (second daughter). There are incomplete information about his parents, brothers and sisters because they are living their private life out of social media and publicity.
Apart from his professional endeavors, He enjoys playing table tennis, reading, and journaling, nurturing a well-rounded and grounded lifestyle.
