Growing up in the ghettos of Lagos, Nigeria, his parents did a remarkable job keeping him off the streets—or rather, keeping the streets away from him too. His father constantly emphasized the importance of self-worth and setting boundaries. His father’s advice profoundly shaped Shola’s life.
Now, to prepare himself for the future, he knew he needed marketable skills. He began by creating a new Twitter (now X) account and started tweeting. This is the beginning of his love for social media with the Twitter handle “Shola Talks” and Facebook page “Shola Jayy The Dope”. From there, his interest in digital marketing grew rapidly. He started researching as well as reading more about online to develop his social media influencing skills. His journey to becoming a life coach was one of exploration and discovery.
